Advantage: Powell
Watch this:
Let’s cut to the chase, General Powell is absolutely right as far as the Republican’s needing to reachout. The debate should be wide open and no holds barred in regards to the direction of the party. The way that Republicans are operating right now is based on the extreme right wingers shouting everyone down and flooding the inboxes of those who dare speak out against Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, the latter of which wo9uld know Christian character if it stared at her in the face. And if you want to take issue with me referring to Coulter as a crack whore in previous postings, feel free. I was just stooping to her level, since some people think that it’s a good idea to do so.
If you think about it, Colin Powell in a roundabout, yet nice way had asked Cheney, what have you done because I have done more than you.
Last time I checked, I was still conservative, still a registered Republican and still did not vote for Mr. Obama (nor will I be voting for him in 2012,) but I have the same criticism of Rush Limbaugh as those on the left. Powell was dead on when he talked about the moderate Republicans who are silent for fear of having their in-boxes jammed. The moment I criticize El Blow Hard, I get labeled a neo-con and my conservative street cred is questioned.
Advice for today, take heed to Mr. Powell’s words and let’s talk about the direction of the party, balls to the wall!
