Paul Kenneth "Kenny" Burns has been a part of the media scene in the Washington / Baltimore Area for over 15 years.

Kenny began his media career as a teen editor with the Washington bureau of the Children's Express News Service in 1994. He later joined Young D.C. in the spring of 1998; becoming News Editor later that year.

His broadcast career began in 1999 as a news assistant for WTOP-AM/FM in Washington, DC. Kenny has also worked for WNAV-AM in Annapolis, Md., Radio America in Arlington, Va. and Salem Communications in Arlington, Va. His tour of duty also includes NAVTEQ Traffic in Silver Spring, Md.

Kenny has also blogged about Maryland politics for four years through his own blog. In addition, he was a contributor to PolitickerMD.com and briefly to Washingtonpost.com's Local Blog Network. He has appeared on WBAL-AM, WICO-AM and WAMD-AM as a political analyst and commentator.

Kenny currently makes his home in Baltimore, Maryland.
